Broke and itchy
Disappointed that I let one smart-mouthed prick affect my day yesterday. I'm a sensitive fellow I guess.

My first Art Book is now Published!
I recently completed my first art book showcasing my monster artwork. I started a Facebook group in the winter of 2010 called "Monster-A-Day". Almost everyday I uploaded a monster I did (sketched, painted, inked, etc.) with the one rule that it takes 15 minutes or less to complete.
It now has almost 1300 followers and I decided to do an art book made up of many of the monsters I had done.

Monster-A-Day on Facebook
Pencil sketches, ink drawings, charcoal, watercolour ..whatever I happen to grab will transform into some beast. I truly hope to upload a monster a day.
Self-imposed rules:
1. no more than 15 minutes
2. just letting it all 'hang out' with less concern for a polished piece...just raw in the moment creating

Monster-A-Day

To help fan the fires of creativity I decided to start a fun Facebook group called
Monster-A-Day. I'll post a drawing a day with less focus on the polished, finished piece and rather the loose ,edgey raw sketch. Ink,pencil, watercolour or mishmash of things...whatever I grab that day. The only rule is that it takes no more than 15 minutes from start to finish.
It began just a few days ag, but seems to be getting some attention, here's a link and a couple of samples...
If you not on Facebook I've also posted them on Flickr.

Comic Style Record Paintings
The series of comic styled record paintings I started in 2009 were very well received. They all sold with alot of interest for more. I had and still am having alot of fun making them- to the point I feel like I can't part with a few because they are just so funny. ahh well.

Sweet Dreams II
A couple of months ago I did a painted jewellery box (wonkie) that looked like a boy sleeping in a comfy bed with all the monsters underneath. The idea came by really utilizing the shape of the wooden jewellery box.
This time I did a little girl version, this is a zoom.
Here's the link for plenty more photos.
