Spring... even though it is snowing outside my studio window right now, I know Spring islurking about- ready to unveil her magic.
I remember Spring in grade school... recess, kicking the soccer ball around, the fresh smells, that wonderful warm sun feeling through a light spring jacket that Mom insisted you wear--but now it lies on the ground acting as a goal post.
Seeing new growth erupt from the ground, the birds building nests.
As I get older, I find that fond childhood memories grow dimmer, but with the arrival of Spring- I seem to recall vivid memories much easier and more plentiful.
I can't wait.
